Wear comfortable, athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. Avoid loose clothing that might get caught in equipment. Pilates is practiced barefoot or with grip socks, which we recommend for hygiene and safety.
Absolutely not. We welcome complete beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Your instructor will assess your level and adjust exercises accordingly. Everyone starts somewhere, and we make sure you feel comfortable from day one.
Book through our online system or via WhatsApp. Cancellations should be made at least 16 hours in advance. Our team will guide you through the booking process during your trial session.
Our Juhu studio is conveniently located for residents of Juhu, Santacruz West, and Khar West. We recommend choosing YKBI Juhu only if you live or work within this area for consistent attendance and best results.
Please inform your instructor before your first session. Our certified trainers are experienced in working with injuries and can modify exercises for your safety. Pilates is often recommended for rehabilitation, but we need to know your limitations.
Most clients feel differences in strength and posture after just a few sessions. As Joseph Pilates said: "In 10 sessions you'll feel the difference, in 20 you'll see the difference, in 30 you'll have a whole new body."
For best results, we recommend 2-3 sessions per week. However, even once-a-week practice delivers benefits. Your instructor will help create a schedule that matches your goals and availability.
